How do Custom Skates work?
All skates can be put together to order. For traditional skate boots, For Heaven's Skates have available Moxi, Antik, Reidell ans Chaya boots.
If you want to turn your own trainers into skates, that's possible too! Fill out the enquiry form and arrange to send your shoes to us to be converted.
What shoes can I convert to skates?
It is possible to convert most shoes and trainers. Popular types to convert are skate shoes, such as Vans and DC, and football boots. Please note we currently do not convert high heels.
Where needed, a strengthening aluminium insole will be custom cut for your shoes to allow conversion.
Can I send in my own plates, sliders etc?
Due to previous issues, we no longer accept conversions with your own skate plates. Plates, toe stops, wheels etc must be bought from For Heaven's Skates for your trainer build.
We also have available Chicks in Bowls new model sliders and Chaya grindblocks for use with Karma Plates.
We are, however, happy to mount hardware such as grind trucks and Discoblox or Big Foot sliders to custom build - just pop these in the box when sending in your trainers.
How do I pay?
All payments for custom skates are taken via the PayPal invoice system. Contact us via the enquiry form with your needs and someone will get back to you asap. Once you've decided what to go for, an invoice will be emailed to you via PayPal.
Is postage included?
For all full builds, postage is included in the price quoted. This includes the postage to send your trainers in - once you've paid your invoice, a postage label will be sent to you for you to print. Package your trainers carefully and then drop the parcel off at any Post Office.
How long does it take to get my order?
Once received, all custom builds can take up to 6 weeks at busy times. We aim to keep you up to date with progress and let you know an estimated finish date, as well as tracking emails so you know when your skates will arrive back with you.
